Stephanie Tansey, Director, ECCN:
Stephanie teaches this distinctive program to middle school students at Beijing World Youth Academy in China. She has been teaching a similar program at Beijing Normal University since Fall 2010. Students at the African School of Excellence in Suleja, Nigeria changed dramatically as did the community around them after her two years with them and continue to excel. She established the New School of Collaborative Learning (NSCL), an international bilingual school in Beijing in 1993, looking for ways to help Chinese and Americans live, work and prosper together. She is also the director of Global Citizenship Community Collaboration.
Fan Minjian, China Director, ECCN:
Mac Fan is on the board of the Jane Goodall Institute/China. Mac Fan is the co-founder of the New School of Collaborative Learning. Concerned with the task of nurturing east/west communications both in business and education, he advises expat and Chinese businesses and NGOs. He has also nurtured many a student, guiding them to a place where they can discover who they are, where they are going and why they study. He is also the China director of Global Citizenship Community Collaboration.
Michele DiMartino, U.S. Director, GCCC
Michele DiMartino has 35 years of travel business experience both domestic and international. She had a management, planning, and media design background as well. Born and raised in Japan, she understands and appreciates Asian cultures and has worked privately as an English as a Second Language teacher for many years as well.
Robin Meader, California Director, GCCC
As an editor and writer, and formerly a journalist and teacher, Robin Meader has worked on projects in American literature, English language, and journalism for over 35 years. Strong interest in the natural environment, indigenous peoples, and sustainable living informs her work.
Ping Qi, China, Teacher, ECCN:
Ping Qi is a volunteer at ECCN. She has rich experience in early childhood education. She was a teacher at the New School of Collaborative Learning and a bilingual kindergarten. She is a full-time mother and taking care of her lovely daughter. She believes students can learn the values and dialogue skills for surviving in 21 Century from ECCN. She also believes “changing world starts from ourselves.”
祁平,地球社区网的志愿者。她具有较为丰富的幼儿教育经验,曾经在北京协力国际学校和多所双语幼儿园任教。她现在做全职妈妈照顾可爱的女儿。她相信学生们能够从地球社区网学到在21世纪生存所必须具有的价值观和对话技能。同时她坚信“欲变世界先变其身”。
Xue Xue, China, Teacher, ECCN:
Xue Xue was the librarian at NSCL for many years and responsible for the development and publishing of the school yearbook. Now she is ECCN's administrator and engaged in promotion and dissemination, and uses her dialogue skills in mindful living presentations and one-to-one conversations with students and teachers. She would like to urge everyone to consider discovering their passion so that they can have greater impact in the world.

Chang Guan, China, Program Planning, ECCN:
Chang Guan was Stephanie's student and joined ECCN in 2010. She is one of the BWYA student program's planner, which she tries hard to create an unforgettable experience for students in BWYA. She hopes that students have a more deeply understanding about sustainable living skills , dialogue skills, and intercultural skills though this distinctive program.
