China and the United States today need to learn to work together better, to solve global problems and build genuine relationships. Environmental issues concerning biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development require dialogue among friends, not just expertise.
ECCN’s distinctive programs around the world, in China, Israel and Nigeria, nurture global citizenship, dialogue, and community building skills while respecting cultural traditions and indeed link these to modern daily life applications.
ECCN is an international network dedicated to helping students become global citizens. Our training, which includes discussions, interesting exercises and joint projects, develops skills in intercultural dialogue, writing, critical thinking and collaboration. Students will create better relationships, both at home, at school, abroad and discover more about themselves as well.
Students will participate in a schedule of activities that introduces and then develops global citizenship. They learn, understand and then want to help the world become a healthy place to live for everyone. They learn to apply this new wisdom in their daily lives and their future.
Because students learn to express what is in their heart, and what they think, others want to engage with them. They really can become the future the world needs.
We offer two programs. Essential Intercultural Skills and Essential Communication Skills. Both include a trip to the U.S. to practice, in English, the skills learned during the course.
